Embracing Change: Welcoming the New Rebel Movement Project and Bidding Farewell to Twisp Studio

ree

This week, we say goodbye to the cherished Hot Box in Twisp, WA. Over the last four years, we have faced the challenges of the pandemic, held small, intimate classes, conducted outdoor sessions, and managed outbreaks and shutdowns, all due to COVID-19. Despite everything, we built a close-knit community within the walls of 14 Glover Street N. It has been a true blessing to witness each person grow into confident and bold rebels, pushing beyond their mental limits and discovering their true inner potential.

We now bid farewell to this windowless space. Many have asked about the future, and I haven't provided clear answers because, honestly, I'm not entirely certain myself. I aim to build an online community with Rebel Movement, a goal I had during the pandemic but couldn't achieve while managing the brick-and-mortar studio alone. I plan to hold private, semi-private, and small group classes at my home studio. Additionally, I want to offer online coaching to reach a wider audience and share my 27 years of fitness knowledge. I am eager to pursue all these endeavors, but I'm unsure how they will unfold today, tomorrow, or in the near future.

I ask for your patience as I take time to reflect on the closure of our studio space and seek inspiration for future projects. Our collaboration is far from finished; in fact, it's just beginning. By transitioning from large group studio sessions to smaller groups and one-on-one coaching, I am confident I can help individuals achieve their fitness and nutrition goals while providing personalized support.

I am personally eager to discover what my body can achieve. Without the intensive daily classes, which are fantastic for students but can lead to burnout personally, I'm curious about what Kaarin still has in her. Could it be a significant swimming challenge, a long gravel race, a triathlon, or simply training for aging gracefully and feeling great in the future? I'm uncertain, but we both know that whatever it turns out to be, if not all of the above, it will enrich my intuition and benefit my work with clients through the knowledge and experience gained.

I always struggle with concluding blog posts. It feels like I should offer something deeply insightful, but that task seems overwhelming and somewhat insincere. So, I'll simply say, "I love you." It's the most profound and powerful phrase there is.
